At SB Baselayer, we believe sport should always be fun no matter where life takes you.

As the founder of SB Baselayers, I’m a nurse and a lifelong athlete who has always found joy in movement, adventure, and the outdoors. A few years ago, my journey took an unexpected turn when I was hit by a car, breaking my ankle and tearing all the ligaments in my knee. The road back to sport was long and challenging, but after a lot of hard work, I’m thrilled to be running again and even skiing this winter.

While I may not be the same athlete I once was, I’ve learned that joy in sport comes not just from performance, but from play, laughter, and connection. That’s what inspired SB Baselayer a line of high-quality, merino wool baselayers designed to keep you warm while celebrating the fun side of every adventure.

Our first round of signature characters or "MVPs" are for ski and snowboarders alike. The Snow Bunny, Snow Buck, and Snow Ball MVPs bring personality and humor to the everyday layers we rely on. Whether you’re a weekend skier, a little ripper learning to ride, or a lifelong athlete chasing the next run, we’re all connected by the joy, resilience, and laughter that make our sports so meaningful.
